About

For many reasons, Belgrade is one of the most enjoyable cities in the Balkan states to visit. It is a peaceful area and very inexpensive as a vacation spot for tourists from all over.  If you are a history buff, you will certainly enjoy the many attractions that Belgrade has to offer. If however you are more interested in the nightlife scene, the liberal nature that pervades most of Europe can be found in some Belgrade gay bars.

Belgrade is the European city where east meets west and you will find tradition of the old country shaking hands with new cultures in contemporary country.  In the older sections of town, such as the Stari Grad and the Dorcol, you will find quiet and comfortable coffee shops, coffee bars, and more intimate Belgrade gay bars.  You can then venture downtown to the newer sections of Belgrade, and here you will find a host of urban style shopping malls and dining choices that include selections such as French, Italian, and even American.  Downtown is also where the hottest Belgrade gay bars are located, and where you will be sure to have an excellent time.

If your interest is piqued in the old country history of Belgrade, then you will want to check out the Kalemegdan, Belgrade’s most famous landmark. This is a Victor monument located in the heart of the city where the rivers of Sava and Danube are conjoined.  The National Museum founded in 1844 is another Belgrade speciality, offering over 400,000 pieces of Italian Art, French Art, and Japanese and Cubist Collections. If you’ve never seen an original Monet up close, now is your chance. After perusing the finer points of Belgrade culture, unwind with your friends in the many Belgrade gay bars scattered all through the city.
